When I was younger I held a grudge against my mom that my baby book was empty except for my birth information. Flipping through Deena's baby book I realize I have commited the same crime. Deena doesn't have anything in her own baby book except her birth date, weight and length. AND it took me 2 extra days to even think about putting her own page on the blog. Kid number 3 or 4 just doesn't get the same attention as the kids before him or her - there just isn't the extra time. Now that I'm on Deena's page I have no idea what to put on here.
I know - I'll make it a page she'd be proud of. A page that contains all her favorite things! And if I get a free minute I will add more. But don't be surprised if I don't make it back ;)
Deena has loved penguins since she was 2 - she calls them penguinos. And they are all named Baby Penguin except one. That one is named Ella the Dancing Penguin that Likes to Cry all the Time. So we have 13 Baby Penguins and 1 Ella the Dancing Penguin that Likes to Cry all the Time. The hardest birthday party we had was penguin themed. We had to have family make the cake (which turned out phenomenal) and I used blue paper bags and covered them with penguin stickers. Deena approved, but then again she was only 4.
Deena also loves gymnastics. She's just a beginner and can't do any super cool tricks yet but she works hard at it - so it won't be long before she's flipping through the yard.
(By the way - I dont recommend looking up 'gymnast girl' on Bing Images without a filter - oy ve, my poor eyes!)
